    FAQ

It is recommended that you get your oil changed every year or every 5,000 miles. You may want to consider changing your oil every 3,000 miles if you’re driving in stop-and-go traffic, especially in warmer weather.

For many drivers, rotating tires every 6,000 to 8,000 miles is sufficient. Rotation is also recommended when tires are worn to 5/32nds of an inch or less.

K&M Tire & Auto Center’s comprehensive vehicle inspection checks your oil levels, tire treads, brakes, battery, windshield wipers and washers, exhaust system, steering and suspension, and all other safety-critical aspects of the vehicle.

If your check engine light is on, it means that your vehicle has reported an issue. The light indicates that there is a trouble code stored in the history of the onboard computer, or ECM (Engine Control Module). You need to have that code scanned and interpreted. From there, diagnostics can begin.
